Welcome to the Samsung forum on CNET! Samsung worked with CNET to create a forum where people can ask questions and talk about all Samsung products and get help with everything from HDTVs, Smart TVs, home theater components, phones, cmaeras to monitors and printers.
Hisense Tv Troubleshooting
This forum is staffed by Samsung employees, but as we have seen in the past, often the most helpful answers come from CNET forum members themselves so please don't consider this just a Q and A with Samsung. This is a CNET forum and Samsung is here to be part of the conversation. I have TV model UN60H7150. I have contacted Samsung Support online with my issue, and per their suggestion done a factory reset of my TV and a reset of the smart hub.
Neither of those things have fixed the problem. Basically, Hulu Plus shuts itself down on my TV at the beginning of an episode. It will work 1 out of every 5 or 7 tries and actually play an episode.
Most of the time it just closes and I have to open the smart hub and open Hulu again. Hulu works fine on my Roku and on my playstation, but it is incredibly annoying having to use one of those systems when I bought the smart tv for the smart capability. Netflix works fine. Amazon works fine. It is only Hulu.
The TV is only 3 weeks old and it is the second one we got after we had to return our initial purchase due to Hulu freezing and getting colored fuzzy lines across the screen. Best Buy Geek Squad is stumped. Do I return the TV and get a Sharp? My TV is doing this also. I have to unplug the tv and then it seems to work for a couple hours of watching (either same day or over multiple days) and it starts to do this again where it just shuts off.
From my research this has been going on for 3+ years. I had a Panasonic before this Samsung (it was stolen) that never had an issue with Hulu, so it isn't just the Hulu App. With cable/satellite becoming less popular I would hope this would become a priority for Samsung to make it get fixed. I know I won't be purchasing Samsungs for replacements for other tvs in the house as they are needed, seriously annoying.
I'm not sure if this post will fully answer the questions and issues posted on this topic. Hopefully it will shed some light on an issue that may not be immediately obvious to others with this problem. I use a Samsung TV to access Hulu. It's a newer 4K model. Prior to that I used another Samsung 'smart' TV which had a Hulu client built in. After getting connected to Hulu I began to have problems not the least of which was my TV was not recognized by Hulu. This was resolved with a software update.
Next, my viewing would go 'dark' for no apparent reason and I spent weeks being told the cause was my 'slow' network connection. But thanks to Samsung, the real reason emerged. Hulu ad serving platform uses code to 'target' ads based upon several pieces of information they try to obtain from the software client.
In particular, Hulu tries to access the IP/Geolocation of the device connected to the service. The reason they do this is for ad serving. Hulu's ad serving software hijacks the viewing stream and the ad insert interrupts playback. Fortunately, Samsung software detects this highjacking and refuses to display the content. This caused the Hulu ad server to stop sending the program. I have the same problem or at least I think its the same - at the very least similar. Hulu opens ok, everything seems fine then I pick an episode and start it - then 'Loading' forever.
At first it only seemed to be programs from certain networks (NBC was the most common offender) - then it seemed like i had to clear out the queue, sometimes I'd have to remove it then reinstall it (which I've forgotten how to do) and eventually whatever fix I happened to find would work. Spectra plus sc keygen free. Web works fine, smartphone fine - TV - well lets just say I tried to start Heroes Reborn before I started this reply and its still 'Loading'. Whatever the problem is - its annoying. Why am I paying for this to have it not work?
And even more hilarious they want me to kick in another $3 for commercial free - commercial free what? I'm already commercial free - I can honestly say its been 'Loading' for 20 minutes and not one commercial. Although I'm not sure that qualifies as a silver lining.

NOW going to streaming TV, and would like it, but no can do.found out right away that it`s not available, but they were working on getting it. 2 years later, still not available. First, let me know what type of phone you are using to access your apps. By this way I can give the best answers to you. However if you need a Samsung apps there are solutions, these are follows: To get to the Samsung apps, go to 'Internet @TV,' either by pressing the button on the remote or choosing the icon after pressing the 'content' button on the remote.
This will bring up a screen of the apps installed on the TV, along with an icon to the Samsung Apps store where you get more apps. Csr bluesuite. Below the recommended apps is a grid of icons for the apps that you have downloaded. Pressing the blue 'D' button on your remote control changes the way the apps are sorted — by Name, by Date, by Most Used or by Favorite.
To favorite an app, press the green 'B' button on the remote when the app is highlighted. There is also picture-in-picture so that you can continue watching your TV show while you find the app you want to use. This is helpful for apps like ESPN scorecard that aren’t full screen — they appear over your TV program. Try this one if it will work for you!
The 2011 line will have a different Samsung App home screen that displays the apps by category - video, lifestyle, sports. Leader Board Leading Today Pts Helpful 1. 200 64% Leading this Week Pts Helpful 1. 200 100% Leading this Month Pts Helpful 1. 1000 100% 10. 1000 100% 13.

Reviewed.com The Hisense 55H7G ($699) is the company's flagship 1080p TV, and features a new Android-powered smart platform called VIDAA. Securing a 55-inch, 120-Hz smart TV for $700 sounds like an excellent deal on paper, but is this Best Buy exclusive too good to be true? Sadly, despite its unique design elements and terrific on-board smart platform, the 55H7G's core performance is so terrible that we absolutely cannot recommend it. The 55H7G looks just about like every other basic TV on the market: plain, but not unattractive. But I was pleasantly surprised to find that, rather than the traditional charcoal coloring, the 55H7G's back casing is entirely white. It definitely helps the TV stand out, and the white trim along black bezels makes for a striking contrast. The 55H7G also comes with two remotes.
One is the regular infrared kind; it works as it should, but feels extremely cheap to the touch. The other is a smaller, mouse-like device that gives the user better control of the TV's Android-powered VIDAA platform via motion controls and voice recognition. Speaking of which, Hisense's new Android-powered VIDAA platform has multi-app functionality — a feature that smart TVs have lacked for years. Basically, the H7 can run multiple apps simultaneously; most smart TVs must power off Netflix before launching live TV — so users can only do one thing at a time. Simply put, this fluid functionality is leagues beyond almost any other smart platform out there. While VIDAA has a lot to offer, it isn't without flaws.
For example, the included motion/voice-compatible remote is a great way to navigate, but certain features still need work. The inaccurate motion-tracking feature is often aggravating. Don't expect full access to the wealth of PlayStore apps.
You'll find plenty, but there are a slew that wouldn't work on a TV screen. Smart features aside, the Hisense 55H7G has a huge drawback: its picture quality. Black levels — or a TV's minimum luminance — are critical to producing excellent picture quality; unfortunately, the 55H7G produces grayish-looking black levels in Movie mode, resulting in both poor picture quality and crushed details within the darkest gray shades. In short, middling black levels disqualify this TV for dark home theaters. As for the H7's motion performance, it's tolerable, at best. If you love action flicks or Monday-night football, you'll be eager to turn on motion smoothing and blast away the blur, but take heed: The TV's motion enhancement is simply too aggressive, so you're probably better off without it.
Last but not least, the out-of-the-box calibration is very bad. Legal limits — where the TV places 'black' and 'white' reference levels — are set incorrectly in Movie mode. Colors either skew towards blue or shy from full saturation, so your favorite movies and shows look incorrect compared with current HDTV standards. The Hisense 55H7G sports a fairly flashy design — and a 55-inch LED TV for $700 seems like a steal. The smart features are dynamite, and the TV even ships with a touch-pad controller. The only trouble is the picture quality: This TV is only a bargain if you don't care about serious viewing.
Now, this series is one of my childhood favorites which is the biggest reason why I wanted to revisit it after so many years. Conan the adventurer the complete animated series torrent. And as an adult, I have mixed feelings about it. But, let’s go aspect by aspect. Now I notice how mediocre the animation is and how bad the acting definitely is, but on the other side, the story is still excellent and quite engaging from the first to the last episode. The first season consists of thirteen episodes which are of the similar quality throughout.
High-quality items such as Blu-ray discs or HD streaming are done a major disservice on this TV. If you're looking to save money but still want a large-screen smart TV with a great picture, you should check out Vizio's 55-inch E Series. The price is the same, and while the design is chintzy and cheap, the picture quality blows this Hisense out of the water.
